Medical Treatments

Evidence-based pharmacological treatment carefully tailored to your individual needs

Medical Treatment for Mental Health

Medication plays an important role in the treatment of many psychiatric conditions. Dr Sivasanker provides careful, evidence-based prescribing — selecting the most appropriate medication for your specific diagnosis, symptoms and personal circumstances, and reviewing it regularly to ensure it continues to work effectively and safely.

Medication is never prescribed in isolation. Dr Sivasanker will always consider the full picture — your diagnosis, your history, your other medical conditions and any other medications you are taking — and will work with you to understand the rationale for any medication recommended.

Types of Medication We Prescribe
